Backyard with an orange string line and survey flags marking a new fence line
Day 1 · Layout

Every good fence starts with a string line.

We stake the line, flag every post, and call 811 to mark utilities before anyone digs. Scroll to watch a five-day install go in.

Day 2 · Posts

Thirty inches deep, in concrete.

Posts go in every 8 feet on center, set in two bags of concrete each and checked plumb on two faces before the mix cures.

Day 3 · Rails

Straight as the string.

Three rails per bay. They follow the string line instead of the bumps in the yard, so the top of your fence reads dead level.

Day 4 · Pickets

No gaps. Even after it shrinks.

Board-on-board pickets overlap on both faces, then a 2×6 cap and trim board close the top. Cedar shrinks as it dries. Overlap keeps it private anyway.

Day 5 · Stain & walkthrough

Your yard, finished.

Stained, sealed, and cleaned up. We walk the line with you and haul off every scrap before we leave.

Repairs

Storm got it? We fix that too.

Tap the markers to see what failed. Most storm damage starts with one post that rotted at the soil line.

Same week

New post. New section. Same line.

We replace only what failed and match it to the run you already have. No need to tear out the whole fence.

Gates

Then the gate hanging by a hinge.

The top hinge tore out, the brace cracked, and the corner is digging a trench in the dirt. Tap the markers to see what went wrong.

Fixed in one visit

Square, level, latched.

A new cedar gate on heavy strap hinges, with a tensioned anti-sag cable and a gravity latch that closes on its own. Most gate jobs take under two hours.

Built to spec

How we set every post.

Most fences fail at the post. Scroll to watch one go in the way we set all of them.

Step 1 · Dig 30 in.
  • 0 in.Dug 30 inches deep

Deep enough to hold a 6 ft privacy fence through Gulf Coast wind.

  • 0 ftPosts 8 ft on center, set plumb

Never spaced wider, so rails do not sag and gates hang on a solid post.

  • 0 bagsTwo 80 lb bags of concrete

Packed around the post and left to cure before any rails go on.

  • 0 yrCrowned, then warrantied

The top is sloped so water runs away from the wood. If a post leans, we come back and fix it.
